Huck Rivet Gun Fluid
Question: What fluid do I need for a Huck rivet gun?
Full question: Is there a special fluid I need for a Huck tool – what is it?
Answer: Dextron ATF is recommended for all Huck rivet guns. Please call (800) 325-3147 or (972) 986-6792, so we can answer any tooling questions you have.
POP Rivet Gun Fluid
Question: What fluid do I need for a POP rivet gun?
Full question: Is there a special fluid I need for a Huck tool – what is it?
Answer: We recommend POP brand fluid (sold by the quart). DO NOT USE ATF fluid in a POP rivet gun as that will ruin the seals. Please call (800) 325-3147 or (972) 986-6792, so we can answer any tooling questions you have.
Ordering Tool Parts
Question: Can I order parts for a AK175 / HK150?
Full question: I have a AK175 / HK150 tool and want to know if Byler Rivet Supply stocks parts. If so, can I order parts to fix my AK175 / HK150 tool?
Answer: The only parts available for end-user repair of these tools are the front-end components. If there is any damage to the hydraulic system, these tools must be sent in to be overhauled – it cannot be done in the field. Please call (800) 325-3147 or (972) 986-6792 to have your AK175 / HK150 tool repaired in our facility.

Pulling Huck Pin & Collar Rivets
Question: Does the AK175 or HK150 pull the Huck pin and collar rivets?
Full question: My application involves Huck-Pin / Collar Rivets and need to know if either the AK175 or HK150 tool will pull these fasteners?
Answer: No, They will only pull blind fasteners – not the Huck Magnagrip, pin and collar style bolts. Please call (800) 325-3147 or (972) 986-6792, so we can answer any tooling questions you have.
Steel Rivet Tool
Question: Can I use the shaver tool on steel rivets?
Full question: I’m working with steel rivets and have a shaver tool – will the shaver tool work for placing steel rivets?
