gesipa-bulb-tite-countersunk-head-rv6601

RV6601-0808 Countersunk Bulbtite® rivet. Structurally superior, this clamping rivet functions well in curved areas, oversized holes and thin brittle materials such as fiberglass and plastic.

The rivet body folds into three separate legs on the blind side of the work, evenly distributing the load over a broad bearing surface.  It is a strong, structural and dynamic fastener.

The shear zone of the Rv6601-0808 Countersunk Bulbtite® overlaps giving it an incredible strength and grip range.

The use of a special nosepiece is required to set this fastener and locks the mandrel into the body to prevent dirt and/or damp environments from penetrating the application.  The sealing washer, which
is available as an optional accessory, offers added protection against wet and damp conditions.

The Countersunk Bulbtite® has excellent clamping force.  This is achieved by the three large pressures plates that distribute the clamping force evenly across a large area of the surface so that even soft, thin, supple or brittle materials can be riveted safely without destroying or damaging the surface
